Frequently Asked Questions

How long are sessions?
Sessions are typically 50-55 minutes in length.
How often should I come to therapy?
Everyone’s therapy needs can look different, but I recommend meeting weekly for the first few months to build rapport and get the momentum going. After that, it is common to meet biweekly and eventually monthly, once you find your stride and experience consistent positive progress.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for therapy?
Some people prefer to prepare for sessions by identifying a specific topic they’d like to discuss, while others let the session unfold organically. I believe both approaches can be effective in meeting your therapy goals and needs.
Who do you work with?
I work with individuals aged 18 and up who are struggling with depression, stress, anxiety, past and present trauma, bereavement, grief and loss, and life transitions such as young adulthood, fertility, parenthood, midlife, menopause, retirement, or feeling “lost.” I also support those facing challenges in marriage or intimate relationships, including conflict, separation, divorce, broken relationships, or job loss.
What will therapy look like with you?
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, using various evidence-based practices tailored to each individual’s specific struggles and symptoms. My therapeutic approach is grounded in a person-centered, solution-focused, and strength-based perspective. Together, we will explore and identify your unique strengths, amplify them, and work toward resolving the challenges you’re facing, finding solutions to reduce or eliminate the pain you’re experiencing.
What are some cool quotes that support your practice?

“Who looks outside dreams; who looks inside, awakens.”
– Carl Jung

“Start before you are ready. Don’t prepare, begin.”
– Mel Robbins

Can you tell me more about your philosophy as a therapist and human being?

I am a firm believer in the phenomenon of synchronicity, trusting that if we are meant to work together, it will naturally unfold. I don’t believe in coincidences.

Spiritual guidance can be found both within and around us when we take the time to be still and present. I believe that we are our own greatest teacher, healer, and resource.

With curiosity, awareness, and reflection, we have the power to heal from our pain and hurts, and discover our purpose.

My mission as a therapist is to support you in finding the answers you seek and hold space that provides opportunities for growth, healing, and feeling whole in this world.
